About us

At Holy Trinity, we warmly welcome visitors, new residents and old friends.

This current building was dedicated on 12th September 1878 (although our history goes back much further): nearly 150 years in which we have met to “Do this in memory of me”.

This sacred space is part of our spiritual journey; the very stones bear witness. It is a very special place, and countless lives are caught up in it.

This is a place of belonging, a place of searching, a place of prayer.

You are welcome here, whether you are a Christian or haven’t been to church before.

Wherever and whoever you are as you read these lines, please include our church community and, indeed the whole world in your blessings and prayers, for we can never know for sure what effect our blessing can have on each other and on the world – as we, in love, aim to change into the image of God.
