Born and brought up in Vienna, Christoph trained as a choral conductor and singer and worked there as a freelance conductor and voice teacher.
He came in contact with the Church of England through Christ Church, Vienna, where he served as Master of Music for almost seven years. He then started his training for the ordained ministry in 2010 at Westcott House in Cambridge, and, for a year, at Yale Divinity School in the USA.
Christoph is particularly interested in mystical spirituality and Christian art, as well as Sacred Music Studies. He enjoys reading, music and the arts.
He is married to Ulrike, a professional singer and voice teacher, and a valued member of the music team here at HT.
