Rector: The Revd Canon Christoph Wutscher

Born and brought up in Vienna, Christoph trained as a choral conductor and singer and worked there as a freelance conductor and voice teacher.

He came in contact with the Church of England through Christ Church, Vienna, where he served as Master of Music for almost seven years. He started his training for the ordained ministry in 2010 at Westcott House in Cambridge, and studied for a year at Yale Divinity School in the USA.

He also studied church music at the International Centre for Sacred Music Studies at Bangor University in Wales. After ministries in the Church of England he was appointed as Rector of Holy Trinity in 2016.

Christoph is particularly interested in mystical spirituality and Christian art, as well as Sacred Music Studies. He enjoys reading, music and the arts.

He is married to Ulrike, a professional singer and voice teacher; both are valued members of the music team here at HT.
